Apartments are rare in this neighborhood, as is new development because their’s not much land remaining.  Beverly Hills has its’s own services for the community such as a City Hall, its own police, fire, building inspection, water treatment, etc…In 2013 a former post office turned to a popular theater called Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.  Also very well regarded as one of the most desirable school districts in the area.
