Real Estate in Woodland Hills

Woodland hills homes have seen vast fluctuations from 2009-2019. Homes that cost $490,000 in 2010 are nearly $895,000 in 2019. In September 2015 an outdoor mall Westfield’s “The Village” opened featuring its anchor tenant Costco, along with  24 Hour Fitness, REI,  Burke Williams and dozens of restaurants.  The indoor malls of yesteryear are a dying breed as seen via the adjacent Westfeld Topanga, which has shuttered. However plans are in the works to rebuild this property into a massive mixed use office, entertainment, dining, and shopping mecca.  A lot of families are drawn to the Woodland Hills area. The schools are in demand and regarded. There are currently eight public elementary schools- Calabash Charter Academy, Woodlake Elementary Community Charter School,  Woodland Hills Elementary Charter For Enriched Studies, Lockhurst Drive Charter Elementary, Chaparral Elementary School, Serrania Avenue Charter For Enriched Studies, Calvert Charter For Enriched Studies, Chime Institute’s Schwarzenegger Community. There are currently two public highschools- El Camino and Taft Highschool.  Some celebrities that attended El Camino include Brad Garrett, America Ferrera, Tiffany Haddish, Alex Mejia, Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
